A Mid-autumn Night Dream Of Truffles

Hong Kong Wine & Spirits Fair Opens 8 November with a special event

The 4th Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine and Spirit Competition Award Presentation Ceremony and “A Mid-Autumn Night’s Dream of Truffles” gala wine dinner were both on the evening of 8 November. Three Michelin- star chefs Umberto Bombana, Chicco Cerea and Heinz Beck, have been invited to prepare special dishes for the glamorous night.

The dinner has been organized by the Italian Cusine & Wines World Summit 2012 and Sopexa.

The first wine was Ferrari Brut

The dinner has been opened with a special dish made by the chef Umberto Bombana: Lobster and caviar on Autumn salad (for us the best one!)

Chicco Cerea prepared for us a simple and tasty risotto with Riso Acquerello

Umberto Bombana again, the The ‘King of White Truffles’ presented “Tajima beef tenderloin porcini polenta and taleggio, white trouffle from Alba, Italy”
