Depack Design cocktail event at Bonhams on March 23rd

On Thursday on March 23rd we organised a cocktail event for Depack, the prestige division of French leader FG Design at Bonhams Auction House Hong Kong.

Clients and journalists attended the event to know more about Depack and enjoy the food and wine tasting organised by arete food and wine (food: Flairfood.com + Vigne Vecchie – wines: Famille Fabre)

Tartuflanghe Truffle Festival 2016

Tartuflanghe Truffle Festival is organised by the official importer in Hong Kong Abrate and Sons in collaboration with arete food and wine and it takes place this winter in Hong Kong. The festival starts on Tuesday November 1st and it runs until Sunday December 18th when we celebrate the white truffle with a four hands dinner with Michelin Star Chef Pino Lavarra and a very famous Spanish Chef at Tosca (Ritz Carlton Hotel).  (more…)

Longino&Cardenal Tasting at Va Bene HK

In collaboration with Amorosso Fine Wines, Longino & Cardenal organised a gourmet tasting at Va Bene Restaurant in the vibrant area of Sai Ying Pun (Soho 189, 189 Queen’s Road West Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong).

Chefs, restaurants owners and opinion leaders in the food and wine market have been invited to taste the great cheese from Chantal Plasse, the tasty cold cuts from Italy and the French oysters from the Charente- Maritime.

Together with the Piedmont Land of Perfection, Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour, Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani, the 16th International Auction of the White Truffle of Alba was successfully held at the three Michelin-starred restaurant 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA on 8 November 2015 (Sunday) marks the most anticipated and prestigious event on Hong Kong’s culinary calendar. The most coveted Alba white truffles weighing 900 kilogram were sold to Mr. Sam Chan, for HK$833,000. A total of HK2,563,000 was raised from 6 lots of sizable specimens and the evening’s special white truffle dinner crafted by Chef BOMBANA. All proceeds go to Hong Kong charity Mother’s Choice to help young girls facing crisis pregnancy and children without families. (more…)

GUFFANTI Cheese Tasting at Conrad Hong Kong

Longino&Cardenal, in collaboration with Guffanti Formaggi organised a special cheese tasting at Nicolini’s restaurant (Conrad Hotel Hong Kong).

The tasting was a nice occasion to celebrate the opening of the Wine and Cheese Library where cheese lovers can find a special cheese selection made by Giovanni Guffanti and Chef Luca de Berardinis

Nicholini’s is located at 8/F, Conrad Hong Kong, Pacific Place, 88 Queensway.

Famille Fabre Wine Tasting Hong Kong

Thursday October 15 we presented the organic wines from Famille Fabre at Ciak in the Kitchen (Landmark).

The tasting was organised under guidance of Clemence Fabre, export manager for the winery, and the wine has been paired with Chef Valentino Ugolini finger food.

Journalists, restaurant managers and sommeliers tasted the wines with us!

Longino&Cardenal Giraldo Bacalao Workshop and Dinner

On Wednesday 13th of May Longino & Cardenal organised an intresting workshop for chefs and foodies

After the workshop with Chef Jose Gonzales Oliver from Giraldo, we enjoyed the dinner; Chef Luca Marinelli from ISONO and Chef Jose Gonzales Oliver have created a menu to enhance Bacalao Giraldo. All dishes have been paired with the Spanish wines sponsored by World of Wines.
